Will We Rock You ??

There appears to be lots of uncertainly about captioned performances for 'We Will Rock You' at the Playhouse. Staff say the construction of the set won't allow the usual position for the caption equipment and at present (as of 15.11.09) they haven't found a solution. Just hope they keep trying. Failing that, I'll just have to hope the action speaks louder than words!

Front of house staff deserve praise for helpful attitude and clear explanation of how personal loop and infra red headphones work. I borrowed equipment (free of charge) to augment the essential captions and found this allowed me to pick up enough of the speech to stop looking at the captions all the time - and hence I saw more of the terrific acting.
