Eva Hesse Exhibition
A friend and I went to the talk on Wednesday which Susan arranged. It was an unusual display of creations in latex, metal, string, cheesecloth etc. The pieces didn't have names, so it was a great help having an artist explain what Hesse was doing. She was experimenting with different materials. She died young, so we don't know what she was working towards. We learnt a lot, and would not have got much from the exhibition without the excellent talk. Be brave, folks and try something new! Hilary.
